Though the Kings batting lineup has lots of power and depth what it lacks is balance and Kane Williamson is a perfect pick for providing the required balance to the batting order.
With Johnny Bairstow not yet indicating any chances of recovery from his injury, Kane Williamson would be a good pick who can even lead the side in ways better than Mayank Agarwal.

With neither any depth nor anyone hitting any kind of form in their batting lineup the Knights would be in a hunt for a proper batter who can build on the innings from one side not minding even a lower strike rate as they have exquisite finishers in Russel, Rana, Narine, Cummins and co.
Again for such a side, Kane Williamson would be a perfect find with his strike-rotating and innings-building capability.
