Behold the Audi Activesphere concept, the fourth such concept to debut Audi’s pathway to becoming a fully electric car brand. The Activesphere concept will debut Audi’s future vision of what premium mobility will look like in 2030 and beyond. But if you can’t wait that long then fear not, the Activesphere will debut in early 2023. So between now and then, twiddle your thumbs, take up whittling or perhaps order a bag of long-lasting popcorn.
The Audi Activesphere is so called because Audi believes the future battery-powered car be driven autonomously, with very little input from the driver. The Activesphere is designed for the active lifestyle, which means driving to Costa Coffee for an early morning brew and listening to the Joe Rogan Podcast on the way to work.
Audi proposes the Activespehere will be powered by a 120kWh battery pack and dual all wheel powertrain. Expect a yet to be confirmed 530kW (719hp) power output and 960Nm of torque. These figures are taken from Audi’s Grandsphere, and Skysphere concepts. So one can assume the Activespehere will share the same conceptual powertrain.

Audi will be attending this year’s Monterey Car Week in California in August where the brand will show off the three members of the sphere family that have already been introduced – the Audi Skyphere, Grandsphere and Urbansphere concepts.
