The sharp surge in ITC share price or say exceptional return has raised experts’ eyebrows. Experts are bullish on ITC for a long, given the company’s robust businesses and growth.

ITC share price on January 3, the first trading session of 2022, was Rs 209.10 on the NSE. ITC shares have added over Rs 100 apiece in their valuation since then to trade at Rs 313.35 on Friday, August 26. 

The long-term ITC share investors have made significant gains. Besides, the company has a good dividend track. ITC has consistently declared dividends for the last 5 years. This is another factor why ITC share is always on the radar of long-term investors.

ITC share price 52-week range is Rs 319.45 – Rs 204.35.

ITC Share Price Target NSE 

In a special edition ‘SID Ki SIP’ aired on Zee Business with Managing Editor Anil Singhvi, stock market expert Siddharth recommended BUY ITC shares. He said that the company’s fundamentals are strong and that the stock could yield a good return in short term and long term.

ITC share price target for those buying ITC in delivery, he said, would be Rs 330 in short. 

ITC share price target in long term, according to Siddharth, would be Rs 364.

Meanwhile, domestic brokerage and research firm HDFC Securities has also recommended a BUY rating for ITC shares, given the favourable outlook and reasonable valuations of the company. It said that ITC has not only outperformed its FMCG peer group but has also been among the top performers in Nifty50 in 2022 so far. 

The short term ITC share price would be Rs 320 apiece, HDFC Securities said.

ITC was incorporated in 1910. The Kolkata headquartered company has a diversified presence in FMCG, hotels, packaging, paperboards & specialty papers and agri-business. ITC is also the country’s largest cigarette maker.
