Dividend stocks, rights issue shares: 12 stocks to remain in focus next week; dividend offered up to Rs 193 per share

Dividend stocks: There are 12 stocks that will remain in focus, based on announcements made by respective companies on dividend and rights issues. All of these stocks will start trading ex-dividend or ex-rights this week, while many of them will see their record date falling next week. A dividend is the reward paid by the companies to their shareholders for holding shares in such firms. Ex-date is the date on which a stock starts trading without the benefit of corporate announcement. Through rights issue, a company offers more of its shares to current shareholders, generally to raise extra capital. 

From Bharti Airtel, Abbott India to Bata India are among 12 shares that will react on their corporate announcements. Below is the list of such stocks:  

Bharti Airtel dividend date:  

Telecom major Bharti Airtel has announced a final dividend of Rs 3 per equity share. Bharti Airtel will start trading ex-dividend from August 1. Bharti Airtel dividend record date is August 2, 2022.  

Sudarshan Chemical dividend date:  

The chemical firm stock will also go ex-dividend on Monday, August 1. Sudarshan Chemica dividend record date is August 2. The company has announced a final dividend of Rs 5 per share. 

Abbott India dividend date 

The Pharmaceuticals giant has announced a special dividend of Rs 130 per share and a final dividend of Rs 145 a share. The stock will turn ex-dividend on August 2. Abbott India dividend record date is August 4.  

JK Cement dividend date 

JK Cement dividend has announced a final dividend of Rs 15 per share. The cement stock will start trading ex-dividend from August 2 and the record date for the same is August 4.  

Ultratech cement dividend date 

The board of Directors of Ultratech cement has announced a final dividend of Rs 38 for its shareholders. The stock will go ex-dividend on August 2 and the record date is August for Ultratech cement dividend.  

Cummins India dividend date 

The company has announced a final dividend of Rs 10.5 per share. Cummins India dividend ex-date is August 2 and record date is August 3 

Coforge dividend date 

Coforge has announced an interim dividend of Rs 13 per share. The stock will start trading on August 3 and Coforge dividend record date has been fixed as August 4 

Maruti Suzuki dividend date 

Auto major has announced a final dividend of Rs 60 per share. Maruti Suzuki dividend ex-date is August 3 and record date is August 5.  

Andhra Paper dividend date 

The Board of Directors of Andhra Paper has announced a final dividend of Rs 15 per share. The paper stock will turn ex-dividend August 4 and Andhra Paper dividend record date falls on August 6.  

Bata India dividend date 

The company catering to the footwear segment has announced a Rs 50.5 per share special dividend for its shareholders. The footwear stock will go ex-dividend on August 4 and the record date is August 6.  

Sanofi India dividend date 

This pharma company has announced a special dividend of Rs 193 per share. Sanofi India shares will turn ex-dividend on August 5 and the record date for the same is August 8.  

Mercury Metals rights issue 

The Board of Directors of Mercury Metals has approved a rights issue, as per which shareholders will be granted 23 shares for every share held at Rs 3 each. Mercury Metals rights issue ex-date and record date is August 4.
