EaseMyTrip Q1FY23 results: Profit jumps by 125% YoY, 45.36% QoQ – Check PAT and other financial details

Online travel platform EaseMyTrip has announced Q1FY23 results with a profit jump by 125% to INR 33.7 crores as against a net profit of INR 14.9 crores in the corresponding quarter last year, as per an official statement.

Further, the Q1FY23 Gross Booking Revenue (GBR) stood at INR 1,663 crore, the statement added.

Q1FY23 Financial Highlights

– Gross Bookings Revenue (GBR) for Q1FY23 stood at INR 1,663.1 crore as compared to INR – 356.7 crore in Q1FY22 up by 366% YoY

– Adjusted revenue for Q1FY23 was INR 132 crore up by 169% YoY

– Air segment booking was up by 212%, and hotel nights booking grew by 409% and Trains, Buses and others registered a growth of 132 % in Q1FY23

– Profit after Tax for Q1FY23 stood at INR 33.7 crore as compared to INR 14.9 crore in Q1FY22, up by 125 % YoY

Earlier, Standard Chartered Bank had announced the launch of a co-branded credit card with EaseMyTrip. The ‘EaseMyTrip Standard Chartered Credit Card’ offers exclusive travel benefits with instant discounts and reward points to  cardmembers, as per offiicial statement. 

Features of the EaseMyTrip Standard Chartered credit card include:
 
o   Flat 20% instant discount on Domestic & International hotel bookings* with EaseMyTrip of up to INR 5,000 and INR 10,000 respectively with no minimum booking amount

o   Flat 10% instant discount on Domestic & International flight bookings* with EaseMyTrip of up to INR 1000 and INR 5000 respectively with no minimum booking amount

o   Flat INR 125 off on Domestic bus bookings* on EaseMyTrip with INR 500 as minimum booking amount

o   10 reward points for every INR 100 spent on select merchant categories (Standalone Hotel and Airline websites/app and outlets) outside EaseMyTrip

o   2 reward points for every INR 100 spent on other merchant categories in the country, where Visa cards are accepted

o   1 complimentary Domestic Lounge access per calendar quarter and 2 complimentary International Lounge access per year
