Harris Bricken welcomes paralegal Emily Chen.

Emily is a junior international business and legal advisor serving in the Seattle office. She works with the immigration, corporate, and China law practice groups and assists on a wide range of non-immigrant and immigrant matters, including advising clients applying for their visas as students, investors, and specialty occupation temporary workers. She also help clients seeking permanent residence in the U.S and becoming naturalized citizens.

Additionally, Emily is a licensed Chinese attorney with 3 years of experience practicing corporate and securities law in Shenzhen. She undertook legal due diligence on pre-IPO companies, advised clients on M&A transaction structures, and drafted transactional documents. She also performed reviews and provided legal opinions on corporate operation management. With 7 years of studying Chinese law and 1 year’s study of US law, Emily is able to handle cases related to both Chinese and US law.
