Has Google created sentient Ai? NO, AI will never be sentient. Current Ai technology is everything that has ever been typed into a search engine, every article ever posted, every question ever posed every forum ever participated in. In other words, artificial intelligence is you and I, it is a composite of the entire internet, a ledger of everything the internet is, condensed into a singular complex algorithm feeding off of thousands of complex algorithms.
Because Google’s Ai is based on data inputted by humankind via the internet, it is by definition flawed and superior at the same time. If Google AI was ever to become sentient, which is highly unlikely, it would mirror the egregious and gregarious aspects of humankind.
AI should be termed as Replicant Intelligence because the data set that Google Ai is based upon is gathered the from company’s internet search engine. Therefore Google AI replicates the good and worst aspects of human thought. Although we are at the early stages of AI the technology is progressing rapidly.
