ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualification pathway for 2024: The biggest event of the biggest cricket tournament with 20 teams will be the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in USA and West Indies.

The road to the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies will begin in June with the first set of qualifying events originating from Europe. This will mark the beginning of the biggest men’s T20 World Cup ever, with a record 20 teams taking part.

The eight top-performing teams in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia along with hosts USA and West Indies will automatically qualify for the 2024 edition of the marquee tournament. The next highest ranked teams in the MRF Tires ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings as on 14 November 2022 will make up the 12 automatic qualifying spots.

The remaining eight spots will be decided by regional qualifier events – two teams from each of Africa, Asia and Europe will qualify for the event, while one team from each of the Americas and EAP regions will progress to the World Cup.
