This is because CBD has anti-inflammatory properties and can help regulate your endocannabinoid system. This can then have lots of benefits on your body, allowing you to enhance your well-being hopefully.

CBD is said to be safe for human consumption, and an overdose of CBD causes no known deaths. However, there are things that you need to be aware of before taking it. Some side effects can occur when you take it for the first time or perhaps take a dose that’s too strong. These are often mild, but they can be more severe if you take over the recommended amount. The common side effects are dry mouth, nausea, diarrhea, and even vomiting. If you start to vomit after taking CBD, it’s always best to speak to a medical professional and seek their assistance. Other Medications

Many people already take certain medications to help with numerous health issues. If you are taking anything, you must speak to your doctor before taking CBD. This is because some studies have shown that CBD can interact with certain medications and make them less effective. This can be life-threatening if the medication helps your body function daily. You might not even notice that your medication isn’t working until it’s too late. So, always speak with your doctor first and ask if you’re okay with taking CBD.

Pregnancy

Although CBD doesn’t work the same way as THC and won’t make you feel high, it’s not recommended to take it during pregnancy. Although studies haven’t shown any adverse side effects yet, the studies themselves have been very limited in humans. Because we don’t know if it’s safe to take during pregnancy, you should avoid it to err on the side of caution. It’s also vital that you don’t take it while breastfeeding, as CBD can still be passed down to the baby. Again, there are limited studies that show the impacts of CBD and nursing, but it’s best not to do it to be safe.

As you can see, CBD is safe for human consumption, and the side effects are pretty mild. However, some people shouldn’t take it; they are pregnant people and people taking medication that it can interact with.
