Karthikeya 2 movie box office collection: The multilingual film released pan-India has received positive responses. Calling Karthikeya 2 the first choice of Moviegoers, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that the move continues to score in mass pockets. Karthikeya 2 has collected over Rs 16.30 crore in the last four days — from Friday to Monday (August 19 to 22).

“#Pushpa and more recently, #Karthikeya2 were released with zilch promotions/media interviews, yet the content of these two films spoke louder than words… On the other hand, several biggies – including #Shamshera – had countless media interactions before release… Kya hua,” he tweeted.
Karthikeya 2, a Telugu-language mystery adventure film, is written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti. It was released in Hindi. It is a sequel of 2014 film Karthikeya. Produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and People Media Factory, it stars Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswaran and Anupam Kher.
According to a report in IANS, the film had 157 shows in Hindi on Saturday and 245 on Sunday. By Monday, the shows had increased to 274 in Hindi.
Karthikeya 2 deals with the personal problems of Karthik. His pursuit of the truth leads him to find out the power of the Indian ancient system and Tatva of Lord Sri Krishna.
