Lamborghini needs no introduction, nor does the Aventador and neither does Liberty Walk, the Japanese automotive tuner and re-styling house. Re-styling is, perhaps, a rather tame description of what Liberty Walk does. The company is known for extreme-looking interpretations of stock performance cars. The modus operandi is to take that stock Lamborghini Aventador and make it look as though it landed from another planet, or is ready to commit a hostile takeover of another planet.

Liberty Walk has gone for the widebody, extremely low-riding look, otherwise known as the Fast And Furious street style. The Aventador’s restyled front bumper incorporates winglets on either side and an integrated front splitter.

Winglets reduce aerodynamic drag by dispersing vortices that develop at the wingtips as the vehicle moves through the air. Winglets do not increase downforce, no, they are designed to improve efficiency and cruising range.

Flared wheel arches, louvers, flared side-skirts, reprofiled wheel arches, bespoke 20-inch alloy wheels, and of course, the obligatory and outrageously looking sharkfin rear wing make this Aventador look ready for multi-planetary invasion.

Liberty Walk doesn’t need to bump up the Aventador’s performance, because I guess 769bhp is more than enough power. This Liberty Walk remastering is all about the looks and for some it’s jaw-dropping for others it splits opinions.
The Aventador will be replaced by a V12-powered plug-in hybrid which is expected in fall 2023.
