City Limits rounds up the latest housing and land use-related events, public hearings and upcoming affordable housing lotteries that are ending soon.

Welcome to City Limits’ NYC Housing Calendar, a weekly feature where we round up the latest housing and land use-related events and hearings, as well as upcoming affordable housing lotteries that are ending soon. Upcoming Housing and Land Use-Related Events:

Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 8:30 a.m.: State Sen. Cordell Cleare and Barnard College will host a panel discussion about the school’s exhibition on redlining in housing policy. The event will include breakfast and tours of the exhibit. More here.

Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m.: The Legal Aid Society and Community Service Society will hold an online forum for NYCHA residents leaders and advocates about public housing issues in the year ahead, including the creation of the Preservation Trust. More here.

Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 10 a.m.: The City Planning Commission is holding a public meeting on several land use and development proposals, including the construction of a retaining wall in the Bronx, a mixed-use development and Brooklyn and other proposals. You can participate in this meeting either in person or online. More here.

Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 10 a.m.: The NYC Housing Authority is holding its monthly board meeting in the ceremonial room on the 5th floor of 90 Church St. Meeting details have not yet been posted. More here. 

Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 1:30 p.m.: The NYC Department of Housing, Preservation and Development (HPD) will host a lead poisoning prevention workshop which will include prevention tips, testing kits, and resource referrals. More here.

NYC Affordable Housing Lotteries Ending Soon 

The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) are closing lotteries on the following subsidized buildings over the next week:

  • 167 Malcolm X Boulevard Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning $67,429 to $138,840
  • 150 Bayard Street Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning $47,520 to $187,330
  • East New York Cluster Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning $0 to $100,870
  • 103 Schnetady Avenue Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning $69,943 to $156,130
  • 110 West 123rd Street Apartments, New York, for households earning $100,458 to $187,330
  • 353 Miller Avenue Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning $66,858 to $187,330
  • 2851 University Avenue Apartments, The Bronx, for households earning $51,429 to $187,330
