England is set to tour Pakistan for an action-packed seven-match T20I series ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. For the first time in 17 years, England is set to tour Pakistan in September-October 2022 to play a seven-match T20I series. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today (August 2) announced the fixture list for the series.
The series will begin on 20 September 2022 in Karachi, where both sides will play the first four matches before moving to Lahore for the final three T20Is.
The T20I World Cup was pre-scheduled for October 2022 in Australia, a series that will be crucial for both sides’ preparation ahead of the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
