Nifty50 Share Price NSE, Stock Market News: Domestic stock markets ended higher on Tuesday with Sensex and Nifty both closing over 60,000 and 18,000, respectively. The rally was mainly driven by firm inflows from foreign investors and improving macro parameters.
Nifty50 claimed 18,000 first time after April 5. The index, which represents the country’s top 50 companies, ended at 18,070.07 – jumping 133.70 points or 0.75 per cent from the previous closing – also the first closing above the psychological 18,000-level since April 4 when it had finished at 18,053.40. Nifty50 had made a 52-week low of 15183.40 on June 17.
