Stock Market Today 24 Aug 2022: Stock markets ended on Wednesday marginally higher. The BSE Sensex ended at 59,085.43, up by 54.13 points or 0.09 per cent while the 50-share Nifty index settled at 17,604.95, gaining 27.45 points or 0.16 per cent.

In the 30-share BSE Sensex, 15 stocks were gainers at the closing time and the remaining 15 were losers.
Sensex Top Gainers:
1) IndusInd Bank shares ended at Rs 1,101.6, up around 3 per cent from Tuesday’s closing price.
2) NTPC shares ended at Rs 160.4, up over 1 per cent from Tuesday’s closing price.
3) ICICI Bank shares ended at Rs 872.55 up around 1 per cent from Tuesday’s closing price.
4) Power Grid shares ended at Rs 229.3, up around 1 per cent from Tuesday’s closing price.
5) HDFC Bank shares ended at Rs 2437.15 up over 0.5 per cent from Tuesday’s closing price.
Sensex top Losers:
1) Tata Steel shares ended at Rs 106.55, down around 1 per cent from Tuesday’s closing price.
2) Titan shares ended at Rs 2,460.35, down around 1 per cent from Tuesday’s closing price.
3) TCS shares ended at Rs 3,255.35, down around 1 per cent from Tuesday’s closing price.
4) Sun Pharma shares ended at Rs 881.55, down 0.5 per cent from Tuesday’s closing price.
5) ITC shares ended at Rs 314.25, down around 0.5 per cent from Tuesday’s closing price.
In the 50-share Nifty index, 26 stocks were gainers at the closing time and remaining 24 were the losers.
