The Indian markets ended Thursday’s session on a positive note, which was in-line with global peers. Sensex surged over 500 points at the close and Nifty50 settled above 17650-level, supported by IT, Banking, and Financial Services stocks.
At the market close on Thursday, the BSE Sensex was up 515.31 points or 0.81 per cent to 59,332.6 and Nifty50 was up 124.25 points or 0.71 per cent to 17,659.
The early trends of SGX Nifty suggest that Nifty50 is likely to open flat with a positive bias. The global markets, especially the US, closed mixed on Thursday, similarly, Asian indices are trading mixed in the early morning during Friday’s session.
