T20 World Cup 2022 India squad 2022: India announced their 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia on Monday. In the announcement BCCI selectors announced that fit-again fast bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been included in this year’s T20 World Cup squad after his recovery from injury. Fast bowler Harshal Patel, who had had a memorable IPL 2022, is among the noteworthy inclusions into the squad.
Another fast bowling option Mohd Shami has been named as a standby in the 15 member squad. Other stand-by players include Shreyas Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi and Deepak Chahar.

Spin-bowling all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was not named in the Indian T20 World Cup squad after he picked up a knee injury that kept him out of the India team in the latter stages of the recently-concluded Asia Cup 2022.

The T20 World Cup begins in Australia on October 16. Team India will play their first match against Pakistan on October 23.
