This McLaren 720S by Zacoe Was Literally Made For SEMA

Taiwan-based aftermarket auto specialist Zacoe makes carbon fiber body kits for high-performance luxury cars. They say their approach is subtle but the stance is evidently brutal as is the case with their interpretation of the McLaren 720S. Zacoe flew to Las Vegas where they set up a display stand at the Las Vegas Convention Center. There, the Zacoe team spent the first week of November at the Speciality Equipment Market Association show, otherwise known as SEMA.

The McLaren 720S is a striking enough car, but give it to a handful of passionate Taiwanese car curators and you have a handmade McLaren 720S carbon fiber body kit. Zacoe’s philosophy and style is to “blend aesthetic beauty with functional design. Handcrafted for the perfect fitment.”

Zacoe used CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamic Modelling) to create a body kit that improves airflow and dissipates heat. Not for the alloys though, the team used good old creativity to create a sharp-looking set of wheel rims. However, a new bodykit stance isn’t complete without bespoke forged alloy wheels.

A new rear structure was developed to support the all-new fixed rear wing. But McLaren engineers designed the 720S without the need for a rear wing because the body surface is effectively a wing. Having said that, we can all agree that the Zacoe McLaren 720S is one meaning-looking thing.
