IPL 2023: Last year in IPL 2022, we saw some phenomenal performances throughout the season. 3. Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals have a very well-toned batting lineup. Openers Prithvi Shaw and David Warner give them a strong start in any innings. Sarfaraz Ahmed, Rovman Powell, Yash Dhull and Mandeep Singh are some other top orders batters who they can rely on. Sarfaraz Khan, particularly, has been in great form lately in Domestic cricket and DC will count on him this season.
Moreover, Delhi also have 3 phenomenal wicketkeeper-batsmen in KS Bharat, Rishabh Pant and Tim Seifert. Talking about the all-rounders, Axar Patel and Mitchell Marsh are all tested batters as well. Thus we can see that DC have both – a strong and deep batting lineup.
2. Royal Challengers Bangalore
The fact that RCB have Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis in the very same team makes them one of the strongest batting lineups already to begin with. Former captain Kohli has been in phenomenal form lately and RCB fans are optimistic about him this year.
They also have Anuj Rawat, Rajat Patidar (who scored a sensational century last season), and Dinesh Karthik as middle-order batters. Coming to the all-rounders, Glen Maxwell might be having poor form as of now but he might as well make a comeback in IPL 2023. Wanindu Hasaranga can hit some big shots as well.

Lucknow Super Giants arguably have the deepest batting lineup in the Indian Premier League. The two wicket-keepers of the team – captain KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock open the innings for them. Evin Lewis, Manish Pandey and Manan Vohra are some middle order options that they have.
However, it is the number of extraordinary all-rounders they possess that makes LSG so formidable. Deepak Hooda, Marcus Stoinis, Kyle Mayers, Krunal Pandya and Jason Holder are all equally talented with the ball and the bat and thus LSG’s batting lineup goes very deep. Apart from 1 or 2 players in their Playing XIs, all of their players are good batsmen.
