Top 5 Batters Registered In The IPL Auction 2023.  

The TATA IPL 2023 Auction is set to take place in two weeks’ time in Kochi. The broadcasting rights of this mega-event also belong to the Sports 18 group. There are many batters who have registered themselves for the IPL 2023 auction. A good team always needs its batters to fire. We saw last season as well that the Mumbai Indians struggled as their batters couldn’t stick around and do much damage. The same was the case with the Sunrisers. Here is a look at the top 5 batters registered at the IPL 2023 Auction:  

**Ben Stokes and Cameron Green fall in the all-rounder category 

1) Nicholas Pooran has Registered in the IPL 2023 Auction: 

Nicholas Pooran is supremely explosive on his day. You talk about match-winners and you cannot find any bigger player than Nicholas. He has registered himself at a base price of 2 crores. On his day, he will win you games single-handedly. Just a few poor seasons do not wash away the class of this player. Also, any team that wishes to pick him has to give him a well-defined role. 3) Mayank Agarwal: 

Mayank Agarwal is the top Indian batter who has registered in the IPL 2023 Auction. Mayank was one of the best batters for the Punjab Kings over the past few years. But the burden of captaincy led to a drop in his batting numbers so he has been released. But the player has immense potential which we have seen over the years. Mayank will be targeted by teams who genuinely need a top-order Indian batter. Gujarat Titans can heavily bid for him. He is registered in the 1 Crore base price category.  

4) Harry Brook: 

Harry Brook has registered himself in the 1.5 Crore base price category. Brook was the top batter for England this season. He was hitting sixes for fun. At times his impact was so huge that he overshadowed the likes of Stokes and Livingstone. He is young and has a bright future. One of the top middle-order batters on the globe, Harry will undoubtedly have a few takers in this auction. Sunrisers and Punjab Kings can heavily bid for him. 

5) Rilee Rossouw has Registered Himself in the IPL 2023 Auction: 

Rilee Rossouw is the underdog in this IPL 2023 Auction. This left-hander ran through the Indian bowling line-up in the India VS South Africa home series. He was clearing the boundaries for fun. Rilee was off the international circuit for quite some time but when he managed to come back, he had a great impact. His Kolpak deal did have a positive effect on his game.
